Samsung still holds 40% volume market share in India for the November 2017 quarter.


Samsung is trusted  smartphone brands in India and which  claims that it has retained that position in last November quarter. Samsung, which currently sells more than almost two dozen phones in India, offers a range of products including basic phones as well smartphones ranging from 4.5K to 65K. The company claims that it retains its top spot with 45% value market share and 40% volume market share in India.

Reliance Jio announces new Rs 49 plan with unlimited data and calling for JioPhone users

Reliance as announced a new low-cost plan exclusively for JioPhone users on the occasion of Republic Day. The telecom  operator has announced a new Rs 49 plan for the jio  that offers free voice calls, unlimited data (1GB high speed data), and a validity of 28 days.
